jewish memorial revisited

When we arrived in the Jewish memorial entitled ‘Memorial for the murdered Jews of Europe’ I thought it was a bit of an extreme title, but then I realised they do deserve the recognition of what happened to them, and Germany should not hide it but learn form there mistakes. On arrival on a wall there is the quote from a Germany parliamentary figure ‘It happen before and so it can happen again’, wish made me think all the way around the exhibition this quote is true. It actually baffles me how this devastation has been caused by other human beings. Just a note to say that the exhibition does contain a lot of violent imagery and records, diary entries and recordings from people taking about their ordeals. It is very thought provoking, but I defiantly recommend going to see it because a lot of berlin relies on its history even though most of is citizens are from other countries and have settled here recently.
